  • Home Automation products; and
  • Complete Solar Systems.

The following services are available on our Site:

  • Solar System Installs;
  • Home automation Assistance;
  • Energy System Audits;
  • Solar System Maintenance; and
  • Solar & Battery optimisation Assistance.

The services will be paid for in full payment requirements will be advised on the contract.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all the goods and services that are displayed on our Site at the time you access it. This includes all products listed as being out of stock. All information, descriptions, or images that we provide about our goods and services are as accurate as possible. However, we are not legally bound by such information, descriptions, or images as we cannot
guarantee the accuracy of all goods and services we provide. You agree to purchase goods and services from our Site at your own risk.

We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order whenever it becomes necessary. If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.

Subscriptions

Your subscription automatically renews and you will be automatically billed until we receive notification that you want to cancel the subscription.

1. Scope of the Policy
This cancellation policy applies to all customers who have entered into a service agreement with Gateway Financial Group Pty Ltd ACN 627 115 619 (Gateway) for the installation of solar panels and related services.

2. Cancellation Requests
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and sent via email or mailed to our office. Requests can also be made by contacting our customer service team during business hours.

3. Cancellation Fees
Within 3 Days of Contract Signing: Customers may cancel their agreement without incurring any fees, as per consumer protection laws.
After 3 Days but Before Project Commencement: A cancellation fee of 15% of the Contract amount will apply to cover administrative costs and any expenses incurred for project preparation.
After Project Commencement: If cancellation occurs after the project has started, customers will be responsible for:
The cost of materials already ordered or delivered.
Labor costs for work completed up to the date of cancellation.
A cancellation fee of 15% of the Contract amount.

4. Refunds
Refunds for any payments made will be processed within 10 business days after deducting applicable cancellation fees and costs for materials or labor.

5. Non-Refundable Deposits
Deposits made to secure your installation date and order materials are non-refundable unless the cancellation occurs within the 3-day cooling-off period.

6. Exceptions
Exceptions to the cancellation fees may apply in cases of:
Delays in installation exceeding 100 days
Faults on our part that prevent the project from proceeding.
Special circumstances that are agreed upon in writing.

7. Amendments to This Policy
Gateway reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time. Customers will be notified of any changes in advance.

Payments

We accept the following payment methods on our Site:

  • Credit Card;
  • Debit;
  • Direct Debit.

When you provide us with your payment information, you authorise our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorise us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.

If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.

Shipping and Delivery

When you purchase goods from our Site, the goods will be delivered through one of the following methods:

  • Standard delivery by post. Delivery takes 5 – 20 business days. Other options may be available with each order.

Delivery will take place as soon as reasonably possible, depending on the delivery method selected. Delivery times may vary due to unforseen circumstances. Please note that delivery times do not include weekends and public holidays.

You will be required to pay delivery charges in addition to the price for the goods you purchase.

You are required to provide us with a complete and accurate delivery address, including the name of the recipient. We are not liable for the delivery of your goods to the wrong address or wrong person as a result of you providing us with inaccurate or incomplete information.

Refund Policy for Monthly Software Subscription

Refund Eligibility

Technical Issues:
If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the software and we are unable to resolve the issue within 21 days of reporting it, you may request a refund for the most recent billing cycle.

Duplicate Charges:
If you have been charged more than once for the same subscription, we will issue a full refund for the duplicate charge(s).

Non-Usage:
Refunds will not be issued based on non-usage of the software during the subscription period.

Cancellations:
Subscriptions canceled before the next billing cycle will not incur further charges, but no refunds will be issued for partial months or unused time within the current billing cycle.

How to Request a Refund

Your account email or subscription ID.
A description of the issue or reason for the refund request.
Any supporting documentation (e.g., screenshots of errors, duplicate charge receipts).

Refund Process
Refunds, if approved, will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Processing time may vary depending on your payment provider but typically takes 5–10
business days.

Exceptions
Refunds are not provided in the following situations:
Dissatisfaction with features available in a free trial that were explored prior to subscribing.
Failure to cancel the subscription before the billing date.
Accounts found in violation of our terms of service.
We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the above criteria.

Consumer Protection Law

Gateway Financial Group Pty Ltd T/A Gateway Solar and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site.

Indemnity

Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless Gateway Financial Group Pty Ltd T/A Gateway Solar and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales.

Severability

If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
